2026 THEME

The Innovation Imperative: The Cost of Doing Nothing In a World That Won't Wait

Every day we delay a decision, postpone innovation, or avoid change, we incur a cost. Whether you're a startup founder, researcher, corporate leader, or aspiring entrepreneur, inaction often carries greater consequences than failure itself.

The Annual Tech Showcase brings together innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders, and the FITCI and Fort Detrick Alliance communities to explore how bold action drives meaningful progress.

Join us for an evening to learn about groundbreaking-research, emerging technologies, and the people turning ideas into action right here in Frederick, MD. Along the way we challenge you to consider a bigger question: What is the cost of doing nothing for you?
